Football Manager 2007

By downloading our database and ensuring you have the correct official update, you can be playing Football Manager 2007 as manager of FC Rearguard in the Conference North - what an honour.  Read our instructions carefully before downloading/installing/having a nervous breakdown.  It's really quite simple to sort.

Step-by-Step Guide

1)  Ensure you have official sigames update patch 7.0.1 installed on your game.  If you don't, you can download it here, here, or even here.  Once you've downloaded it, select 'Run'.

2)  To check the update is installed correctly load up Football Manager 2007 (FM07) and select 'Start New Game'.  On the database selection screen there should be two options; 'Default' and '7.0.1'.

3)  Now, download our database folder.  Right-click on the big underlined link below, and select 'Save Target As'.  Save it to any location but bare in mind you will have to unzip it in a moment.  This download may take a few minutes.

4)  All being well the zipped folder will now be saved to your computer in the location you specified.  Next task is to unzip it.

Find the folder and right-click on it and select 'Extract All', 'Unzip' or the relevant option (the exact option name depends on your computers default programme settings).

5)  Nearly there now.  The final step is to find the unzipped folder and right click on it.  Select 'copy' and then navigate to the following folder on your computer.

C:\Documents and Settings\yournamehere\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db

***NOTE:  This is the Sports Interactive folder in My Documents, not Programme Files***

Once your there, paste the entire folder in.  Do not take any bits out first, it will not work!

6)  Everything should now be done.  Close all the explorer windows you may still have open and crank up FM07 as you usually would.  Select 'Start New Game'.  This time when the database option prompt comes up you should have FCRearguardfinal.  Select this and continue to start the game as you normally would.  Job done.
