mst 2008
Congratulations to WBA!
Many thanks to all that entered the 2008 tournament, and many congratulations to our winners West Brom and finalists Rochdale.
The games were very competitive and the totals raised for charity all still being calculated (and added to by chasing people!). Full proceeds will be published this week.
Thanks also to our sponsors for their great support - check out the new and improved www.johnachterberg.com for great goalkeeping equipment and academy.
The
Merseyside supporters tournament will took place on Monday 5th
May, 2008. It was the third consecutive year the tournament
was held with supporters teams from around the country
coming together on the first Bank Holiday of May to play
football and raise money for a great cause.
This year the moneys raised will be donated to St John's Hospice, Wirral. For more information about them, check out the charity link on the left hand side of this website.
Reigning champions Rochdale returned to defend their 2007 crown but where beaten 3-1 in the final by WBA. 2006 winners and runners-up Liverpool and Grimsby Town also returnedk to maintain their 100% appearance record at MST.

The tournament was first hosted in May 2006 when six
supporters teams joined FC Rearguard and a 'sluts' team to
compete. Liverpool came out as winners whilst hosts
Tranmere finished with the losers plate.
